Milk and cookies... MMMMM I love oreo's and milk on a Sunday night! 

The new and improved grill and table and chairs that came in very useful this weekend we spent grilling on the deck with friends! 

It is really amazing how just one lamp can really amp up a room. I got two new lamps and they really bring the rooms to life !! :-) 

The Kirbster got a New and improved snoopy collar and he's feeling very good, soaking up this warm weather is right up his alley. :-)

Don't worry our home is still in tact after that storm a couple weeks ago... no, our tornado sirens didn't go off and we were 6 miles from a tornado. Later that week we got a letter from the mayor stating how sorry he was and that they were working on fixing the system and the citizen's of DS were his Number 1 priority!! :-) We were video taping the entire storm in the garage and the sky was green and the hail was about the size of a penny... all of these pictures are unaltered and we tried out best to get a good picture of a piece of hail with the penny... I know it's still not the best.  

Spending some girl time together for a good friends birthday! We played laser tag and had a blast!!

My husband got to use his Christmas gift from my parents for the first time this week, thanks mom and dad! Can you tell the man likes it, the smile never left his face!!

To conclude I would just like to say that my blanket is DONE!!! It took me 3 months but I love it and use it every night!! WAHOO!!

We listened to this song on the way home from church today by Matt Maher, and if you scroll to the bottom of my blog you can listen to it too. I've heard bits and pieces of it before, but it really caught my attention today after the sermon on sharing, and giving and it makes me want to be more intentional with each day as a gift from God. 

After a  fast week of spring break full of life stuff, taxes, dentist, car troubles, internet issues,  and my husband working. I did manage to get the day away to go to KC  on a quick day run. Can't say no to non-stop girl fun!:-)  Plus a lot of thrift shops too many to mention! I just know that I can't let these life things discourage me, but find the good around me and enjoy it and embrace it! 

I want to be intentional in my prayer time.  I want to be intentional in how I treat, love, and respect Nolan.  

I want to be intentional in my relationships with my family and friends. I want to be intentional about sharing God's love with those around me. 

I know that this will be a life long journey of allowing the Lord to work in me, but I know the God that loves me will light my path. :-)

Just like being a home owner and learning to do projects yourself, it is a daily struggle to keep up on the house hold duties, like dishes, laundry, making the bed, vacuuming, dusting, taking out the trash.  I cherish the days the house is clean, it makes me feel so much better. Putting some shutters on the house this week was a fun experience, and pretty easy! 

We worked together to put these up. I was one who held it in place and my husband drilled the holes. I was a little scared about putting holes into the siding but totally worth it to make the house look more homey. The tulips are starting to come up! :-)

I looked inside a lot of these on Wednesday and we sure had fun!

I also found a cute little stool for a dollar!! WHOOp WHOOp!

Left the windows open and blared me some good old fashion Collin Raye while I cleaned the dishes!! :-)

Along with some relaxation....

Is a good recipe for a week of spring break, even though it's not Cancun or Florida I embraced the surroundings of the Midwest! :-)

Wow! It's hard to believe that it has been a year ago today that I started blogging.

I thank you little blog for:

1. Helping me keep in contact and updated with my family.
