" God has a plan or a purpose for history; this plan includes not only the grand scheme of things but also every detail, for God works all things together; according to his devine purpose God has called or chosen them who now love Him. ~ Gordon Clark
Details are a part of our daily lives.... what kind of toothpaste you like, what color to paint your living room, what story will I teach this week in Sunday School, what should I pack for our trip??? The list could go on and on, and some how by the end of the week you can't even remember what happened last week! :-) This past week has just seemed to fly by, which is what my entire summer has done so far....
We took Kirbster to the Dr..... He got shots and some meds to harden up those nasty BM's :-)
LOML and I sported Twins gear at the ICubs..... (Don't worry we're Benge's so it's ok!)
The next day we leave for the BENGE family reunion!!! Good times!!I won in pole frisbee and loml and I's relay team won, and let's just say I need to start working out because I feel like it's the first week of CC again and I waddle actually instead of walking.
This is how Kirby and my FIL look after a long day of being with the Benge's.....
LOML and I are so exited in just about 20 hours it is CO or Bust for us and my family!!!! WAHOO!!! My mom made sure she let me know that I can only have 1 bag..... ( I can't imagine why she would think I might have more.) jk mom! :-) We are so excited, but of course that means that the Kirbster stays with Gma and Gpa, which I'm thrilled about because he loves it there!!! It is just weird without him here at home. Last night LOML said, "It's just weird without Kirbster here, it feels like there is something missing." I agree these are the images you would see of Kirbster if he was here outside working with us....
My surprise beautiful flowers from LOML, I love him so much!! He is the best husband ever!!! :-)
We had a great time last night with our friends, and now we must pack!! :-) Hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July!!!!

A FATHERS LOVE
"Let me tell you a secret
about a Father's love
a secret that my daddy said was just between us.
He said, "Daddies don't just love their children every now and the
It's a love without end, AMEN!!!"
~ George Straight~
Dear DAD,
You are so wonderful and I am honored to be your daughter. Several reasons I'm glad your my dad.
F~ For all things you've lead me though and taught me ( to drive slow:-))
A~ And for promising me that you will always be there, and I can tell you anything!! ( like on our motorcycle rides.)
T~ Through and through you've shown me the ropes, ( to be a hard worker and about the "Real World")
H~ Helping me in anything and everything I face, ( financially, with my cars and how to change a tire and put windshield wiper fluid and antifreeze in.)
E~ Everyday you're there for me, and just a phone call away!! :-)
R~Rarely do I get to thank you enough. So on this special day, I do exactly that.
Thank You for being my father! You are so PATIENT, KIND, CARING, LOVING, SENTIMENTAL, you love to tell stories, and have long talks, reading the paper, taking nice naps, and always working hard to help your family.!! :-) I thank God that he has blessed me with a wonderful man like you!! Thanks DAD!!!
Let me introduce you to my NEW FIL, who I'm very thankful for!! :-)
Dear FIL,
I thank you for raising my wonderful husband that loves his wife unconditionally. You have installed true values in him by teaching him to tell the truth, respect his elders, love the church. Thanks for disciplining him when he was naughty and not letting things slide, I think we both know he was ornery. :-) For forcing him to learn things the hard way and being a faith man!! Congrats on 30 Years!!! Happy ANNIVERSARY to my wonderful in-laws!!! Thanks for always being there, and giving advice and helping us trim the tree during Easter!! You are the one he refers to for wise counsel, advice, for wisdom, and encouragement. Your my husbands hero, who he loves and looks up too. Thanks for being such a great influence!!
When I asked LOML the following questionaire...
1. What is one word that explains your dad?........ RESILIANT
2. How do you know your dad loves you?........ BECAUSE HE's my DAD!!
3. Favorite memory....... Going to sprint car races :-)
4. Funniest thing he says..... when he acts like Forest Gump and says, "Hello Jenny"
5. My dad taught me... To DRIVE Stick Shift
Thanks for all of your love and support!!
We Love you dads and thanks for always being there for us!!:-)
Happy FATHER'S Day!! :-)

Good times in SUMMER oh ten!! :-)
Wow!!! Where do I even begin! Summer 2010 has begun with a bang!! :-) Let's start with this.... enjoy
LOML and I headed up that day to his parents, LOML is in a golf tournament each year. They did a great job! LOML always picks a prize for me, and this year I got a really neat gift, considering last year's gift. :-) Sorry there is no pictures my camera has been acting up. We came back Saturday night, went to church Sunday and after church packed up and went down Raccoon River, which now after all the rain is flooded.
This week I attended a conference and even though it wasn't directly in STL, it was close enough. :-) I had a really great time and got to meet up with my parents!!! WE LOVE them!! :-)
I also enjoyed this little tad bit, that made me think about education in a little different way. This is a classic clip and try to relate it to education. What do LUCY and Ethel represent, what does the chocolate, conveyor belt, supervisor, and wrappers represent???
Do you see it as NCLB with the chocolate being students and the wrapper being the curriculum, Lucy and Ethel being the teachers and the supervisor being the administration. Some students slip though the cracks but the curriculum just keeps getting faster and faster??
I got back late last, and am now finally ready for our summer to start if we can just keep the rain away and sun out we could get outside, but we are starting to get little tomatoes!! ;-)
LOML and I are reading through this book called "CRAZY LOVE" my parents gave us and just watched this video that just totally opens your eyes to how BIG our God is, and how small we are!! :-)
http://www.crazylovebook.com/videos_awe.html
Matthew 22: 37-40~ "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. " This is the first and greatest commandment. and the second is like it: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
Life is G double "O" D Good !! :-)
