Here we are the Sunday that ends my fabulous 5 day weekend!! :-) We had a great Thanksgiving and have eaten entirely way to much food. I'm bummed I didn't get more pictures while I was home, but am so blessed to have such wonderful family!

Plus, Mom's wall for the ones we get to see at Christmas! :-)

Kirby spent some time in his new kennel from grandma and grandpa. We will have to work on him getting used to this. :-)

But you could find him like this most of the time.

Lots of football and movies in the great room (where great things happen!)

We were so excited to Skype with my brother and sister in law!! :-)

We took them on a tour via skype of the new house before heading off to a movie. We really enjoyed ourselves! :-)

The beautiful furniture in the front room.

Mom and Dad's pride and joy as HS seniors. I'm class of '03, and my brother was class of '05. Man time flies!!

Beautiful table with new legs and our wedding photos.

We didn't really do much shopping, but looked at all the ads stuffed in the paper!!

cheers to rejoicing a Happy Thanksgiving to you....

Rejoice in the Lord...

Always........... with chocolate in hand......

For he is good....

~Romans 12:9-13~
"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer, Share with the Lord's people hwo are in need. Practice hospitality."

....... I've tried to think of several angles to get this post to connect....

........because I started this blog as a creative expression of our love for each other.......to keep my family up to date....... to get myself writing....so I can write down all that stuff going on in my brain.....document our life....to leave a mark....I don't know.... just throw things out into this crazy world.

....but then this thought goes through my mind like what will people think when they read it... what if I share too much....

....I have to let go of what other people think....because those thoughts are just constricting....

so, what I'm thinking today is L~O~V~E.........

5. I have the best girl friends a girl could ask for!

4.I only have 2 days until Thanksgiving Break!
3. I have a wonderful family who I get to see this week!! :-)
2. My husband is an amazing cook! Smoking is his specialty!

1. I'm head over heals for a handsome husband that I just can't get enough of, as well as our adoring puppy, who had a little sniffle this morning, but seems to be doing fine tonight.

Kirbster sitting next to me while working outside. Needless to say buddy get a little protective of his mommy.

So.... Love what is around you, and cherish the time with your loved ones. I know we will! :-)

Now, if you will excuse me I have some laundry to put away before I go to bed. :-)

goodnight~ from our home to yours the Benge's :-)

I don't know where this month is going and can't believe that this month is almost a third over. :-( I can't help it, but November is seriously the best month! There has just always been something about it I love: could it be the weather, smell of burning leaves, clothes for this time of year, my birthday, Thanksgiving, being with family.... see... there are so many wonderful things that happen in the month of November. ;-) Last week LOML and I walked up to the city hall and voted and ate pork chops. They were delicious! We have about 4 more blocks to complete our little pathway project to the garage and life is good. I just need to embrace it and look for the good, shouldn't we all?

I am really loving this yoga class I have been going to on Tuesdays and can really tell a difference in my flexibility!! WAHOO!! Now, if I can just make my self get in some good cardio on another day and stop drinking pop! Why is it that pop is so addicting? Grrrrr......

We had a great weekend with beautiful weather and even watched Toy Story 3 with the cutest nephew ever!! :-) I must say that Barbie and Ken are hysterical in the movie, but it does get a little scary.

Here is an updated picture of the walkway in the backyard. It may look a little crooked and it think it drives LOML a little cooky with his, "It has to be straight and perfect." thinking sometimes, but the boys worked very hard on it and I'm so thankful and proud of them.

Sorry about the shadow.

There are two little steps on the way down, since our yard is at an angle. So we are going to have to pick up some lights to put along the path or at the steps so nobody hurts themselves!

I did add a link called, "Brilliant Babies" to my blog. No, I'm not pregnant so don't spread rumors! I've just got a little bit of a creative side and thought I would share, so check out the link just by clicking on it and if there is anything you like or want just let me know I'd be happy to get the sizes you need.

My favorites:

Tie onsies ($4.99):
